We do not replace your clinical governance lead, but we make their job considerably easier.
Our healthcare cleaning operatives are COSHH-trained and follow a colour-coded equipment system — blue for general areas, red for sanitary areas, yellow for clinical areas — to prevent cross-contamination between zones. We use disinfectants appropriate to each environment, following manufacturer dilution rates and required contact times. Operatives receive induction training specific to healthcare settings before deployment to any clinical premises.
Yes — before-hours (from 6am), between-session, and after-hours (until 10pm) programmes are all available. Healthcare scheduling is confirmed at the site assessment stage and locked into your written specification. We can clean consultation rooms between patient sessions if required, coordinating with your reception team.
Yes. Every Vigil operative — including those deployed to healthcare premises — is DBS checked before their first day on site. We manage the DBS process centrally and retain records. If you require sight of a specific operative's DBS certificate, we can provide it on request. We recommend confirming your required DBS level at the site assessment stage.
Our minimum contract is 2 visits per week at 4 hours per visit on a 3-month rolling agreement with 30 days written notice. Most healthcare facilities — particularly those with patient-facing sessions five or more days per week — benefit from daily programmes. We tailor frequency to your patient flow and CQC compliance requirements during the site assessment.
